Great Book for Beginners

There is a great book out there, The Non-Runner's Marathon Trainer. I had purchased it on amazon.com, but you can buy it here at marathonguide.com under Products - Books. It starts you off with a preliminary training schedule just starting with getting off the comfy couch and into walking. When you get to the point of being able to jog 30 minutes 4 days a week, you start the training schedule for the marathon with only having to run 4 days. Although I have a little bit of running experience, I have been lazy in recent years and needed a goal. So, come September 21, will be my first marathon! This book so far has been great and gives you plenty of mental techniques for completing the marathon. I trust that it will work for me to get to 26.2. I might not be fast, but I will be a marathoner! Good Luck!
