We Have Bibs for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon!
The Bank of America Chicago Marathon announced the close of open registration yesterday afternoon. St. Jude has a limited number of bibs available.
With only a $25 membership fee (that counts toward your fundraising total), St. Jude Heroes will receive helpful resources for training and fundraising. We will supply you with a fundraising packet that contains all the tools you will need to help you fund raise including tips on fundraising and a training guide/log book as well as a virtual trainer. When you register to be a hero a fundraising webpage will automatically be set up for you to launch your own email campaign and your sponsors can donate directly to your page! We ask that each runner raise a minimum of $500 (credit cards are secured to guarantee your fundraising).
As a St. Jude Hero you will also have access to "Charity Village" at the race (exclusive only to charity runners) where we will have a private tent, private gear check, bathrooms, massages, food & drinks and your family & friends can meet you there after the race. The night before the race we will have a complimentary team pasta party in Chicago's "Little Italy" where you will have the chance to meet your fellow St. Jude runners and a local patient family.
To secure a bib through St. Jude and to register for the St. Jude Heroes team please fill out the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Charity Runner Entry Form and the St. Jude Commitment Form and fax back to the Chicago Office at 773.784.8745. Both forms must be turned in to secure a bib (forms can also be found at www.stjudeheroes.org/chicago). Please do not register for the St. Jude Heroes Team online as it will not register you for the marathon.
