Thank you so much for that post. I am VERY encouraged to see that someone has done this. I know that I will have to use the TM to train at least August and September because of the 112 degree heat. I get way too exausted on long runs in that heat. Even the mornings at 5am are still in the high 90's to low 100's that time of year.
I am a gym member and use the TM's there and they are very good quality. I actually enjoy running there with the TV's and music and overall energy of others around me....
I will keep the 1% incline as you suggested. I notice when I do that my foot seems to land in the right place too.
I wonder if they will wonder at the gym if I am ever going to leave... Did you say 30 MILES on a TM??? That's longer than the marathon.... why 30 miles?
