Sore Arch?

I have been running for few years now and have never had a sore arch. It's more on the outside of the arch and not the bottom of the foot. It's sore to the touch, when I walk and when I run. I run in Asics Gel-Nimbus 9. This is my 3rd or 4th pair now and this is the first time I have had this problem. I run about 45 miles a week. I do think I have a case of plantar fasciitis, but have had that for some time. I try to stretch, ice, massage, etc. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help!
