Exercise is exercise, keep to the basics to maintain good health. Since you are increasing the amount of work you are doing, it is time to look at whatever vitamins you take. Look into increasing the amounts of key vitamins and minerals that our bodies use while running. As far as the diet goes, that is the same basic idea. If you are at a healthy weight, you can use that as a good indicator of how your caloric intake is balancing with your usage. If you start dropping weight over the course of the week, try to increase your intake a little bit, but try to keep the calories good and not completely crap. Although, running does burn a lot of calories and a chocolate covered sunday does sound yummy right about now.....lol Just be mindful of your body and how it reacts to the increased work outs. The body knows better than the mind very often, let it give you the answer you need.
