From what I have seen in my own training, missing a run or two here and there is no big deal. Your body needs time to recover anyway, and throwing it an extra day here and there does more good than any perceived or potential harm. What you have taught your muscles is not forgotten overnight, or even over a week for that matter. Your running will survive while you battle through the daily issues that can make it tough to find time. Enjoy your training and remember to enjoy the training and time you get to persue it.
