I'm training for Knoxville half marathon at end of March. I want to run a marathon next fall, but I only want to maintain what I've gained prior to beginning marathon training about 18 weeks out from marathon. How much and how many days a week are necessary to maintain? I figure I should do a long run at least once every two weeks. Is this right? I'm open to any and all suggestions.
