Okay, so they're not classic cinema, but the early Rocky movies - especially the running scenes - can't help but inspire. The best running movie ever made (and an excellent film in its own right) is Chariots of Fire - about British athletes at the 1924 Paris Olympics. Post a reply on the Bulletin Board
