Hello everyone, So I'm generally a healthy person. I eat all vegan foods with the exception of seafood. But no dairy, no meat, lots of fruits & veggies, drink plenty of water, etc... I'm a little overweight because I love to eat, But i have myself on a weight loss plan right now.
I came across the "rock n roll marathon" for San Diego in June and thought i HAVE to do that. I think that training for this between now and June could help me reach my fitness goal, while giving me something to look forward to. I'm a complete newbie with marathons and haven't even run a 5k, so I'm thinking maybe it's a bad idea to start with a marathon? But I know I could do it if it's something even remotely achievable. I would have about 4 months to train.
I would like some advice please :)
