I was reading "Sore knees-Do I need to loose weight?" post. Seen the age-height-weight ratios it didn't seem too bad. But, now I am wondering. I am a 47 year old male 5'5" 145#'s.I will like to be under 140#s. People tell me that I look skinny, I disagree since I am muscular. I am a cyclist new to running, last 5 months, 700+ miles running 5-6 days a week and training for my first marathon in Jan 27.
Based on my age-height-goal, my question is: What's the ideal weight to be for my first marathon? Thanking you in advance for your help.
