Thanks Tristan, I could have used your advise when I ran my first marathon in 1990. I ran 9 miles training and it was 90 degrees that day. I didn't even know they had aid stations so I carried a water bottle the whole way. Now 17 years later I'm training for my 37th, an ultra on 12/22 and then my 38th on 12/31 and another ultra on 1/12. I've got my long runs covered but my weekly mileage is a dismal 12-15. Can you help me? I feel like the poster boy for what not to do. When is your next marathon? I have been running at the rate of one each calendar month for the last two years with the HTC relay mixed in. Thanks for your help.
