I have heard various time limits, but I don't think 2hrs is reasonable. 3.5 to 4 hours is probably good max to run. Taking walk breaks is a good idea as well.

Personally my long runs are over 2hours all the time. I would never do much more than 16 miles if I cut the run at 2hrs, and that just is not enough to get ready for 26.2
