About six months ago, there was a similar post to yours. I recommended that he take a 3 - 5 day break from the distance which he did. A week later, he said that he was back in the flow. You have reached a temporary training plateau. Not to be concerned. Give it a little break, and you will find when you go back into the distance again, you will be doing your runs with greater ease. Also, you may be going faster on your distance runs due to your training buildup, and if you are not using a watch, you may not know how much faster you are going .... thus, a much faster 7 mile run can be like a slower 10 miler???? Now is a good time to take a day or so and do some shorter distance speed work on the track????
