The Via Lehigh River Relay Marathon Run is a unique five-person team relay and individual run. The 26.2 mile course follows the Lehigh River Canal Towpath through Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton. Runners of all abilities will love the scenic course. The course design is being designed by Bart Yasso, Chief Running Officer, Runners World Magazine.
The Via Lehigh River Relay Marathon Run raises funds for Via of the Lehigh Valleys Community and Volunteer Services. This marathon spans three cities and two counties, Lehigh and Northampton, covering Vias consumer service area.
The Via Lehigh River Relay is the first full marathon in the Lehigh Valley since 1983. The opportunity to attract runners from the entire northeast and as far south as Maryland, gives Via the occasion to host a regional event spanning three cities and two counties. This two-day event begins with a banquet for runners and other invitees to learn about Vias Community and Volunteer Services.
Marathon Runner: $75 Relay Team: $150 per team (made up of 5 team members Pasta Dinner: $20 per person
