Running a Marathon...by cycling???

Hey, My question is thus. I am a 20 year old Elite-level competative cyclist in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Currently I train full-time for approximately 250-300 kilometres per week, however my background is running and I have always wanted to run a marathon. What I'm really wondering is whether I'll be able to get away with using my cycling training to get running-fit for the marathon. I have no doubts my body and cardio-fitness is up to the challenge, but I wonder if there are running-specific muscle groups that may let me down without proper training. Anyone who can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kris.
