I have read everywhere, start off slow for the marathon. I always run at least a mile at a slow pace before picking it up. Say I run 90 to 120 seconds slower than my planned mp, should I try to make that up over the next few miles or just add it on the end of my planned finish time. Also how much warm up running should I do(if any) before the marathon start. for 10ks Ill run a mile or more before the start but I dont think that will be a good idea for a marathon.
