I did a little treadmill work this am and will definately go outside tomorrow for 12/14 provided its not icy.
I've been doing core strength (weights, yoga, etc.) for the first time while training this season. I don't want to over do it but I've read that core strength can really make a difference in the last few miles of a marathon. My question - do you do other strength/endurance work and when do you stop (i.e. during taper). A trainer at my gym says 5 weeks but that seems really long! I am grateful for any responses.
