Nothing good for long-distance at least

I use creatine, but I haven't noticed any significant benefits for running, except for maybe short interval training. I have however noticed significant gain while doing strength training, which I do daily. It certainly helps muscle growth and repair but only if you're working your muscles in a situation where they will gain mass, and running usually isn't one of those situations. Also it's a diuretic so I wouldn't recommend taking it before a long run.
