Studied this, my favorites.

Scott,

You are correct in that most energy bars are loaded with fat and most resemble candy bars. I have studied these closely and have come up with two favorites that are very low in fat. There are two types: meal replacement "food bar" and "energy bar" for snacking. In the morning I have the MET-Rx® (extreme vanilla) "food bar" - this is like premium gasoline or hard core you know what [27g protein, 48g carb, 2.5g fat (3.2% fat)]. For snacking I go for the Power Bar® (vanilla crisp) [9g protein, 45g carb, 2.5g fat (4.4% fat)]. I buy these two bars by the box at deep discount and feel they are a good value. Also, neither resembles candy!
