Thank yo for your advice, I agree that for my last marathon doing a run of 24 miles helped me mentally more than any thing on race day. I have decided to use the training prgram I found on the Boston marathon website. This program includes a long run of 21 miles as it's longest run. However, there are more mpw and a fairly long run mid-week at mp. I think at this time I would be more upset about an injury than anything else and don't want to take a chance by trying to run Boston at a faster pace than my last marathon. Hey, just how steep are those infamous hills between 17-21? I live in a fairly hilly town but nothing too steep. Thanks again for your input.
