North, are you staying at the Somerville Tage Inn (which is practically in Medford)? I am amazed that you unearthed this hotel, as it is quite geographically off the "beaten path" to the Boston tourist attractions.
Sounds like they may have a shuttle bus to the Lechmere 'T' stop on the Green Line. So I suppose for $59 a night, it will serve the needs of the penny-wise.
In this instance, and in all things, you get what you pay for.
