Similar pain

Let me start by saying I know almost nothing about anatomy and cures. But my body has taken a pounding this fall and I have experienced similar pain in my left knee (my "bad" leg). I can only limp immediately after a marathon. But I bought myself a $15 elastic brace (a rubber thing with a hole in front for the kneecap) and I wore it Sunday (Richmond Marathon was Saturday) and again today while I raked leaves. It feels great. I don't believe I could run in it, but after two days of use I could sure recommend it as a recovery device when you are too sore to run.
