I know two women that have run marathons pregnant, one was my sister who ran her first one in month five with an OK by her physician/midwife. Warm and humid conditions, but she was fine. Certainly you have to replace electrolytes and be fully prepared to duck out gracefully if your body says it is time to quit. That being said, whether you run a marathon pregnant will have more to do with how YOUR pregnancy feels. I am normally a faster and more consistent runner than my sister, yet my running abilities take a nosedive during pregnancy and I could never train for or complete a marathon while pregnant.
