I, too, just had a c-section this summer. I was out walking with the stroller around 2 weeks, but there was no way my body was going to let me run at that time! I was too sore and things were still reconnecting after the surgery. Just remember that you've had muscle, nerves, etc., sliced and diced - if you push too hard, too early, it might take a lot longer to get back to 100% (not to mention tearing any incisions, risking infection, etc.). When I started running again at 5 weeks, I felt MUCH better and didn't have as many twinges as earlier.
