Hi Kimmi, Congrats on your new baby! It you scroll down the topics page to "Question for Runkelly", Lucia and I recently had a lengthy discussion about how long it takes to begin running again after surgery. She had abdominal surgery and I have had c-sections. You really need to ask your OB/Gyn when he/she thinks it's ok but generally people are released to resume normal activity after 6 weeks. I was told 6 weeks after my first c-section and then more recently, 4 weeks after my last one. Please ask your doctor when your restrictions will be lifted but it should be in the 4-6 week range. :)
