preparation is everything

lets see... I ran a 50 miler 4wks after New york a few years ago. My preparation was in fact my marathon training schedule only with a few over distance training runs. Ran 1 50k (31 miles)and several 26/28 mile runs.To be honest I approached the 50 with the same wide eyed nervous approach we all have in our first attempt at Marathoning.The fifty went great actually in some ways easier than marathoning because of slower pace. Recovery was also not bad. London to Brighton starts at the foot of BIG BEN at exactly 7am uk time and runs to the sea. Join me!!
