Well, one week after the surgery I started fantasizing about Philadelphia but when the doctor said 4 more weeks of inactivity, I dropped that idea, too. Imagine, 6 weeks of inactivity and recovery of a serious surgery. It's not like recovering from a cold or something like that. And then, only six weeks to train? It's ridiculous. Sacramento is 2 weeks after Philly. But it's too expensive for me since I am a grad student. And Memphis... is rolling, it's not Chicago. I am thinking of Houston and maybe Miami. The thing is that even though I am feeling better, my abdomen still hurts... not much, but I feel it 24/7. When will this end? I can't believe your sister went out jogging two weeks after her c-section. I had a serious thing, but not a little person inside... just a huge cyst. Any pounding is painful. Only walking is tolerable... I can't wait until I don't feel anything... boo!
