I've been preparing for my marathon using Galloway's techniques. I think its worked great. However, when I got to his "predict your race results" section of the book - I was dumnfounded.
I've done all the long distance he prescribes and used about a dozen speed work outs without formally entering shorter races. I've run 3 marathons before.
Just curious. What would you predict my race results based on these times NOT RACING - just self disciplined speed work on a hilly course.
5 miles 33:20 6 miles 39:58 8 miles 54:26
Finally, I did the full 26.22 miles by myself a short two weekends ago with a 3:24
