I just checked the Marathon Directory at this site and there is one comment, for the 2000 race. Why don't you add a comment about the 2001 race, either from the perspective of a runner or organizer? Just click on "US Races" under Marathon Directory on the home page. Then go backward to 10/27/01 for the Old Mulkey Marathon. Perhaps other participants can add their comments, also.
From the single 2000 comment, the Old Mulkey sounds like a good marathon!
