Good locations

The best locations to watch (after trial and error) are around mile 18 and 23. After seeing him pass at 18, it a direct, short walk to 23. I believe it's the only (comfortable) way to see a runner twice as well as get to the finish line to meet runners. We have used this a few times over the last several years and it has worked very well. It's also a recommended scenario on the marathon site.
