Sheldon, I'm not so sure you are posting a question as much as you are bragging. :-)

I agree with Maine Runner that your program is excellent and that with a December 2 marathon you are in no danger of overtraining. You in fact have a great training program. You have plenty of time to get in your 5 long runs and still taper.

As long as you are "stealing" this thread, why don't we really "stir the pot"? Here goes. I would recommend that you NOT cut your 24 mile run to 22 miles, and in fact if you can I would recommend going two more miles and make it a 26 mile run. This is hard to do, and I admit that I've only run that distance once in training, but, if successful, the psychological boost will carry you through the inevitable pain of the last few miles of your goal marathon.
