I also noticed that it takes about 7 days to recover physically after long runs of 22-26 miles. Additionally, I'm feeling a mental and emotion drag as well for the same amount of time after my long runs. I wrote off the mental exhaustion as a result of my body's fatigue, but should long runs not have such an effect?
