keep long runs long !

Just try to keep your long runs at about 16 - 18 miles, once every 3 - 4 weeks. This may be hard in SD, but look for breaks in the weather, and go for it ! Be flexible! A 40 degree day is a gift for running. (Now I live in florida, so heat is more of a problem right now ! We start our long runs at 5am to avoid heat and humidity!)
