I'm training for Grandma's in June and while I haven't exactly stuck to the training schedule, I've still got a few longs runs in and I'm having trouble w/ pre-run nutrition. I tried eating 1/2 cup of oatmeal and a bananna about 45 min before I run but I still felt like I was crashing, after 12 miles or so. What should I be eating before 12-20 runs and what should I eat on race day?
