I appreciate all your comments. I have concluded that running Columbus will subject my body to a greater chance of injury and that I might not actually run better if I am not fully recovered.

However, I keep thinking about what happened and I hate thinking about Chicago more than I hate the thought of an injury. I ran last night and have started to reverse taper. I plan to run Columbus and if I feel an injury coming on I will stop; otherwise I will put that demon to rest.

Thanks again for your thoughts and comments on this matter.
