Here's the deal. Two weeks past I ran a 12 miler getting ready for Nashville Marathon. Next day my calves were so sore I could hardly walk up the stairs. This one is really nwe. Took a few days off and encountered similar after just a five miler. I took a week off and have canned the idea of running hrad in Nashville. I changed shoes a few months back but this is a first. I do train three days per week on treadmills due to the lovely Midwest weather in winter.
Never had this problem before. Calves just feel like they might if I overused, but with 35+ mi per week for the past five months I don't get it. Neutral runner currently using Izumi Vitals.
Any advice would be appreciated.
