Kathleane, this forum doesn't get many marathon walkers. While I am sure that people here will answer specific questions, my suggestion is that you go over to http://www.thewalkingsite.com. You will see lots of information on training for a half or full marathon and the bulletin board area is active with lots of people who walk these types of events. Post a reply on the Bulletin Board
