Having nursed heel pain (& tight soleus) with cold baths, ice, and massage from October until March, I continued to improve my running fitness and race times. But ignoring some increase in the pain, I ran 7 miles on a Wednesday and a 5K race on the following Saturday and then couldn't even walk for a couple of days. A week later, I'm still hobbling and shoes hurt. I'm taking Mobid. While waiting for my heel to heal, how can I maintain aerobic fitness? Will spinning and biking delay or speed healing?
