few weeks ago I was climbing a tree, don't ask why, well I when I climbed down I under estimated the distance to the ground and hit it pretty hard. I landed with most of my weight on my left heel. The first few days were unbearable to even think about walking on it but it has been almost 3 weeks and I have attempted to go running on it twice now. both times I failed to even get as far as two blocks. I am wondering if there is anyway I can speed up the process by which I can heal my bruised heel so I can continue on my training for the Philadelphia marathon. And what steps should I also use to get back to my pre-injury level of training. This is my first marathon and I don't want to lose out on it because of a fall. Please email me at runningguy@msn.com if you have any suggestions.
