Thanks for the info -- I, too, have been out there on the Internet searching for conditions that cause pelvic pain. In runners, there is a condition called "osteitis pubis" which is pain and inflammation of the area where the right and left pubic bones meet. I had a bone scan done because my sports med doc thought I might have a stress fracture in this area but it showed nothing.....

I have been into alternative healing for quite some time -- I regularly take a yoga class and also a mindful meditation class. I am very into the mind/body connection.

Just thought there may be other runners out there with this type of pain and wondering how they are dealing with it and how I can safely get back to the mileage and intensity I was at before this got so bad.
