A great motivator is to have a race you're shooting for, thus giving your runs a little more purpose. Keep it realistic, given your long break and maybe shoot for a 10k within the next three months. Build gradually so you aren't injured.
Another great option is to find a running/track club to join. Most have runners of all ages and paces and you'll be encouraged and motivated to continue running with the promise of companionship and conversations.
