All of you are extremely helpful. The words of encouragement really boost my moral and make me understand and appreciate why we all train so hard. North, in answer to your questions. 1) I felt happy that I finished the race. 2) My cool down was eased by the spray tent and the food they had. Bagels, orange peels and water water water. 2.5) I also took about 10 minutes and stretched. Mostly my hips and legs. I drove home (about 2.5 hours) with ice on my legs and hips also. 3) I set a time for myself of 66:30, so when I crossed the line a little behind that I thought that I hadn't pushed myself hard enough. Didn't give everything I had. So, I beat myself up on that for a while, but I will pack it away as experience and push harder in training. 4) Physically I felt great, ready to go another race. I think that is one of the reasons I didn't like my time.
Thanks again everybody.. Sheldon.
