Ollie, I'm doing the TMC this year, starting with SA in Nov. (I'll also be at Motorola with you.) I decided to use bike training this time, too. I'd never ridden before and bought my first bike about 6wks ago. I've been doing 22 to 27 miles one day each week. I read on an internet site that it is important not to continue the same running schedule and just add biking on top of it; you have to more or less displace some of your running with biking. So far, no injuries and my times are melting away like mad! I'm really enjoying it.
