I'm only 25. I have heard this happen to a few people I know that are around your age. If you're knee won't allow you to run everyday my advice to you might be to maybe do two short runs during the week, and one long one on the weekend. If you still have an itch to get out there, hit the bike for some cross training, I understand you like to do tri's, just do more biking than running. Probably a good idea for you to never run two days in a row...For further advice, I would contact Dr. Shah, a sports medicine doctor, who happens to have a PR of 2:40. Contact him at 330-342-4612.
