I am training for a marathon in Dec., I have have been following a training schedule that has long runs (>15miles) every other Saturday. So here is my problem. I found a 15K race near my home and would like to run it, however it falls on Monday. And this is the long run weekend. Scheduled for 16 miles. So, do I run the long training run on Saturday and run the race. Run the long run and skip the race, you get the idea. Just a little more info. My training schedule says 7.2 miles on Monday. But it wouldn't be at race pace. Any and all help would be appreciated
