I very much appreciate all of your advice and imput into my training. I am a new runner and want to be sure that I do things in a way that I will be able to enjoy the sport injury free. In the same subject. I posted to this site a while ago asking advise on weight training and running. If I new then what I know now I would never have asked the question. I just don't have the time to put in at the gym. So, I now know why runners don't lift weights. Just one more statement if I may. It was mentioned back in my first post that I would loose fat and their for look better. You were definitely right. I have lost about 6% fat, and 11lbs. in the month in a half. I eat very well and I make sure I drink plenty of fluids, and although the muscle mass has declined, what I have left is much more prominent. Once again, thanks to everyone in helping me through my training. I will post my time when I get back. Probably be 7:15/mile.. thats my prediction. But we'll see. Sheldon.
