Eat plenty of fruit, lots of whole-wheat products, complex carbs, etc. Being super skinny is a great asset in distance running, and unless you keep eating to keep that energy up, you won't be a distance runner for long. I had to learn the hard way: 92lbs at 5'3 is NOT the way to go.

Keep inhaling those carbs!
