I was sitting in a bar earlier tonight shivering. (Is it cold in here, or is it me?) So your post comes at an appropriate moment.
I lift weights and I eat a "balanced diet." I don't want to be a pencil. I like my pecs and biceps. I'll never be a competitive runner, so I aim for a more overall level of fitness. Having said that, I feel downright skinny. Things poke out at the oddest angles and I now like hot baths and saunas.
Anywho, there's this strange guy in the mirror. Maybe I'm in denial, but I still don't think of my self as a "runner." But damn if I can remember the last time I ran less than 40 miles in a week.
Dress warm and instead of a cold Bud, try have a hot toddy.
