I periodically suffered from the same problem Sunday nights after long runs of 18miles or more. I would fall asleep rather quickly, but awaken within 90 minutes. Then I had great difficulty falling back to sleep.

Warm bathes before bedtime seemed to help. And I cut out my coffee intake altogether while gearing up for the marathon.
