Arnaud please take the time to re read the link you posted you mis quoted the facts in the link It is clearly posted and stated 76% goes to research and other patient needs as stated 24% goes to staff and other expenses as well as participants needs. The mis quote the author has problems with is that 76% goes to research as he points out is not true it is divided into %s that equal the 76% going to benefit cancer research and patients. it is semantics no mater how you say it only 24% goes to other expenses it is not as if they claim 76% goes to cancer and in the end only 10% actualy gets there. These figures are consistant and monitored by the Gov. under charity regulations. Jeans Marines on the other hand is a not for profit organization not a charity they raise money for them selves and if any one had any idea that they helped anyone other than thier paying customers they are mistaken. As far as what you get when you do an event with TNT i will only speak for what i know personaly The pasta and victory pary are paid for by the participant, I paid for my own room and transportation to the event as well as my own entry fee as I signed up to run Marine corp prior to TNT. Keep in mind that if the participant does not reach thier fundraising goals along the way they put up the amount needed to recommit and in the end if you are short you are by agreement paying the shortage your self. All this is made perfectly clear when you sign up no suprises.
